Here is what you’ll need to get started:
- Fabric strips cut in widths of about 4-6 inches, long strips
- Underlying fabric such as an old towel
- Sturdy needle
- Heavy thread
Step by step instructions to get you started:
- Start with 3 strips and begin to braid
- As you near the end, add on another set of 3 strips and continue braiding
- Once you have a good amount of braid ready, it’s time to start sewing it to the towel
- Continue braiding and sewing it down to the towel base
